About Us

Open Heavens Christian Centre Barnet is a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), based in the London borough of Barnet. Established in 1952, the RCCG is a growing church with a presence in over 190 countries. In the United Kingdom, there are over 870 churches.

The RCCG is a member of Churches Together in England (CTE), Evangelical Alliance and Churches Together in Britain and Ireland (CTBI).

The General Overseer of the RCCG is Pastor Enoch Adeboye.

We’re not just a church, but a community and a family. We believe that the gospel of Jesus Christ is the hope for the world, and the answer to the problems and issues of mankind. We seek to know more about Him and His way of doing things every time we meet, and the more we know of Him, the more wisdom and understanding ensues.

We believe that everyone is created for a purpose, and we are committed to the growth of each individual, empowering them to first realise their God-given purpose, then to pursue it. This is where true fulfilment lies, and leads to the betterment of society and mankind. Following the example of Jesus, and led by the Holy Spirit, we all have something to give that will make the world a better place.

We seek to nourish and care for members, and also stand up for those marginalised in society, tackling inequalities and challenging injustice, just as Jesus did. Every individual that attends our church can find meaningful relationships and have a place to grow, while being part of an exciting church community.
